As a little girl, I was surrounded by women who were always baking. My grandmother was a fabulous pie baker (Lemon Meringue being her specialty). My Grandma and Grandpa used to manage restaurants with Grandma making the pies. . Oh how I loved to bake with Grandma! My Mom also is a great baker with cookies being her love. I loved all the Italian cookies that were made at Christmas...boy, was I in heaven! Now, who would have thought I would love to bake! Well, not only bake... I love to eat sweets.

I opened a cafe/bakery back in 99', where I also sold my delicious pies and cakes to local restaurants. In 2007, I placed 2nd in the Nationwide APC Pie Contest for my Apple Pie. . seriously, the BEST apple pie you will ever have! I also placed 3rd for my Pecan Pie. . . considering it was a "Nut" pie category and not a Pecan pie category, I was thrilled. My Pecan pie is perfectly sweet that you CAN eat an entire piece and still want more. My Apple & Pecan continue to be my number one selling pies. In 2008, I placed 2nd for my Pineapple Almond Dream Pie...mmmm, I love this one, and 2nd for my Chocolate Brownie Mousse Surprise Pie...oh oh, for those chocolate lovers.

I make everything from scratch and use absolutely no box mixes. I use farm fresh eggs, pure hand-crafted vanilla that I make, organic butter, Philadelphia cream cheese, and I squeeze & zest fresh lemons. I also make my own baking powder (aluminum free). I have created all of my own recipes and I eat everything that I make! (well, I don't eat rhubarb) I frequently sell at green markets, so be sure to check our event page. I have 3 children and 10 wonderful grandchildren (aren't grandkids SO much fun?!). Besides my love of baking and my grand kids, I love to read, work in the yard, go to the beach, and study my Bible. I'm blessed beyond measure and I'm grateful to God, my Mom, and my Grandma for my baking talents.
